Courses

Through AsTW courses, students will broaden their knowledge and gain a deeper understanding about ASEAN and ASEAN+3 cooperation. A speaker from ASEAN Secretariat will be invited to give a special, plenary lecture on the first-day of the program. The AsTW courses will start from the second day. It is a valuable part of the program where the students will be able to approach ASEAN and Asia from various perspectives.

Each course is for two Kyushu University credits (30 credit hours). Students are required to take both courses.

Credit Transfer

Kyushu University will issue an official document showing completed courses along with credits earned by AsTW participants. The official documents will be sent to each student by regular mail in April/May. Participants should consult their home universities about transferring credit and grades in advance.

Study Trips

Study trips will be held during the program. Each trip is planned in the expectation that students are able to experience some aspects of Thai culture. The destinations vary and may include a Bangkok tour with historical and cultural sites. Study trip fees are included in the program fee.
