Asian Languages & Cultures (ALC)
Each course is for two Kyushu University credits (30 credit hours). Students are required to select one course from the following three ALC electives.

ASEAN Studies (AS)

Requirement for completion
Students will be required to take two courses (1 ALC + 1 AS ) to complete the program.

Credit Transfer
Kyushu University will issue an official document showing completed courses along with credits earned by AsTW participants. The official documents will be sent to each student by regular mail in April/May. Participants should consult their home universities about transferring credit and grades in advance.
Study Trips

❖ An overnight cultural trip to the UNESCO world heritage city of Melaka (formerly Malacca)
❖ Various scenic and cultural experiences in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding area
