- A speaker from ASEAN Secretariat will be invited to give a special plenary lecture on the first-day of the program.
- ❖ Introduction to ASEAN: 1 credit
- This course is an on-demand online lecture designed to provide foundational knowledge about the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). It focuses on ASEAN’s history, organization, economic community and systems, as well as its political and social roles. AsTW participants are expected to complete this course by February 15.

Credit Transfer
Kyushu University will issue an official document showing completed courses along with credits earned by AsTW participants. The official documents will be sent to each student by regular mail in April/May. Participants should consult their home universities about transferring credit and grades in advance.
Study Trips
Study trips will be held during the program. Each trip is planned in the expectation that students are able to experience some aspects of Indonesian culture. The destinations vary and may include tours to Yogyakarta Temple and Desa Wisata Pentingsari. Study trip fees are included in the program fee.
